Carved and painted sperm whale, signed on the reverse with the carver's stamp "C VOORHEES WESTON VT" and bears the carver's stamp monogram. This sperm whale is painted black and the inside of the mouth is painted red. There are inlaid metal teeth inserted into the lower jaw. The inlaid eye is orange and black. (FA-968)
