Clark Voorhees

Large size carved and painted sperm whale, stamped with the carver's logo on the reverse, American, circa 1955. The whale was carved in Voorhees typical style and also has his typical patterned painted surface. The sperm whale's mouth is open and retains the original dark red paint. The lower jaw has carved teeth. The back of the whale has the original metal hanging loop. (FA-1015)
Condition: The whale was hung outside and has a weathered finish.
