Boxed lithograph picture puzzle of the paddlewheel steamer "City of Worcester."  The puzzle has great detail and color.  The image shows the white hull paddle wheeler with her deck filled with figures. The vessel is flying several flags including the Union Jack, the American flag, a banner with the wording "City of Worcester" and a banner stating "HORWICH LINE FOR BOSTON, NEW LONDON AND NORWICH." The vessel is also flying four other national flags.  The puzzle was assembled many years ago and is in a period molded walnut frame.  The puzzle retains the original lithograph box which shows the completed puzzle on the top and in the bottom right corner states: COPYRIGHTED 1899 BY McLOUGHLIN BRO'S NEW YORK. Condition of puzzle:  The color of the image is very strong. Hundred percent of the pieces are present and some of the corners of a few of the pieces are slightly raised.  The box is in very good condition and has some minor losses along the top and staining and minor losses around the perimeter. 
Condition of frame:  The puzzle has a period molded walnut frame which has an old finish and a few minor dings.

Dimensions of frame:  Height 17 inches, Width 41 3/4 inches.
