Fine profusely inlaid sailors sewing box, America mid 19th Century. The top and all four sines of the box is inlaid with harts, diamonds. Compass rose’s dots etc. The inlay contrasting color inlay materials including ebony, light woods, and mother of pearl. He interior of the box a has removable fitted tray. The interior top, bottom and tray are lined with light brown velvet. (SC1228)
Condition: The box has a mellow patina and is in excellent condition.
