Church, Albert Cook (American   1880-1965)
Silver bromide photograph, depicting an angled port stern view of the "Constitution", signed lower right in ink: "Albert Cook Church", circa 1920.  The "Constitution" appears to be under tow. All the sails are furled.  Given the crisp quality of the image, this picture provides much information regarding spars, rigging and other architectural features regarding the "Constitution".  The vessel fills the image and is a successful portrait of this important and historic vessel.
