Scrimshaw whales tooth vine design below tip with a spread winged eagle below clutching arrows and an olive branch above an image of brig in a decorative sea. The reverse shows a woman with long dress standing on a patterned floor with the name “MARIA” engraved below. A second engraved vine creates a partial border around the “Maria” portrait.
Condition: The tooth is in excellent condition although there is a partial loss to the tip of the tooth. There are a few typical age cracks.
