Nickel Plated Above Bell ship’s clock Signed Seth Thomas on the silvered dial American circa 1890. The clock has engraved wax filled Roman Numerals and a subsidiary seconds dial above the numeral 6.The clock has a hinged bezel with a metal release by the numeral 3. There is a nickel strap that makes a “U” shape from which the bell strikes ships bells. The clock has 2 winding posts and runs for 2 days. Mounted to the back of the clock Is the original decorative Seth Thomas label advertising the line of clocks. Of the various models of ship clocks produced by Seth Thomas this “Yacht Clock” is both the rarest and most desirable. The bell is engraved with the presentation "Myles Standish from Wm. F.Palmer". The clock is in working condition.  (CL0599)
Condition: The clock case, bezel and bell are in fine condition and retain the original nickel finish. The dial has a few abrasions to the finish but is highly readable.
