EXTREMELY RARE AND LARGE SINGLE DRAW TELESCOPE, by John Gilbert, London, with ten-sided mahogany barrel. Features include dust shutters on both ends, and a rolled-in objective lens which is probably achromatic. Circa 1770.  Possibly the largest know 18th century 10 sided telescopes known.
Condition: very good optics.
