Carved from a single piece of ivory, the graceful hand grips the simple square shaft between the thumb, index and middle fingers, while the remaining two fingers are curled toward the palm. Delicately rendered fingernails. Fluted wheel. Metal swinging loop at end. Deep age patina. (SC1291)
Length 6", not inclusive of loop.
Condition: Naturally occurring reddish brown stain around the palm. Visible secondary dentine. Wear commensurate with age and use but generally well preserved.
