InformationRare miniature 2 1/2" brass Compass, signed Dollond in brass case, English, circa 1820. The compass has a paper card signed at the center "Dollond London". The compass bowl is all brass and is set into a gimbal ring which is mounted on to a round brass box with brass lid. (I 1004) Condition: The compass card, gimbal ring and case are in excellent condition and the brass has a bright polished surface. Dimensions of case: Height 2 3/8 inches, Diameter 3 3/8 Inches.
