KNIFE WITH SCRIMSHAW WHALE IVORY HANDLE
Carved and shaped whale ivory handle with scrimshaw decoration around the circumference. Images include a six-man whaleboat approaching a surfaced whale, a diving whale approaching a fish, and another fluked creature, possibly a mermaid. Metal blade with dagger shap unmarked. (KN6062)
Condition:Their are a few typical age cracks to the grip. The blade is in good condition and is free from chips and has a is discolored surface.
