Information

Large Meerschaum pipe carved in the form of a beautiful mermaid with long flowing hair probably made in Vienna circa 1880. She is leaning against a large nautilus shell and is seated on a long coral branch. The detail of the carving is of the highest quality. The pipe retains its original amber stem which is beautifully shaped and detailed. The pipe retains its original Leather case.  (FA1104)
Condition: The pipe show’s some use and is blacked around the inside of the bowl and at the top of the shell and at the end of the mermaid’s elbow. The case has had a few minor repairs and losses to the leather case.
