Large whalebone pie crimper with Pierced Hart Handle and matching Double Whale Ivory Wheels, American Mid -19th Century. The handle tapers in width from the top down and has a baleen spacer between the handle and the lower whalebone section shaped "T" shaped arms holding the “V” grove matching wheels. On each side of the handle there are 3 inlaid small discs in decreasing sizes. There is a fourth disc inlay at the center of the arm section at the top of the crimper. All the sides of the crimper are chamfered. (SC1204)
Condition: The crimper has a mellow age patina and is in excellent condition.
