Mahogany Small Front Campaign Secretary
InformationMahogany two part campaign secretary, English, circa 1880. The desk is brass banded and has a flip-out brass carrying handle on both upper and lower surfaces. The secretary section and three drawers have flip-out brass pulls and center brass key escutcheons. The desk retains its original bracket feet. The top section slides forward and flips down exposing a black canvas writing surface. The back of the secretary has three drawers below six pigeon holes and a hinged centered door. The compartment behind the door has two secret wood document pockets. (F-507)
Condition: The wood and brass have been cleaned and polished.
