Large Oval Nantucket "Baby Basket"

InformationFine folk art model of a 1930’s woody wagon. The model is reasonably accurate and has a green painted metal body with front and rear bumpers. The doors and trunk are natural wood. The model has attractive running boards. The windshield is glass and the maker purposely frosted the glass out of range of the windshield wipers. The woody wagon has a cloth like roof and wood wheels and tires with metal hub caps. There are several gray colored passengers with a woman driving what appears to be a large family. This item has a lot of “personality” and is a unique example of American folk art sculpture. (FA1189) Condition. The Woody is in in excellent condition and has a untouched original patina. Price $8,500.
