InformationRare four draw telescope 1 ¾ lens with main tube wrapped in green shagreen, English, circa 1780. Each end of the main barrel has a brass end cap and the front retains its original lens cap. All four tubes are made of green colored cardboard and have brass end caps. The first draw tube is signed “Dollond London”. The rear eye piece is brass and retains the original dark slide. (I 1017) Condition: The telescope is complete and is if excellent condition for its age Dimensions: Length Extended 36 inches, Length Collapsed 11 1/4 Inches, Diameter 2 Inches.
